module 5
I have been faithfully meditating, and stretching every evening after work. I have used the techniques in several of the different styles of Yoga becasue I cannot seem to find any ONE particular aspect of one kind I find more appealing. The use of these mediums helped me through a nerve grinding health scare of my significant other this week as they ended up in the hospital for observation and testing for cardiac issues and then a stress test and thalium overview on Friday. i remained calm and nearly unstressed throughout the ordeal and offered to teach the act of mediatation, to a unrelenting, resounding ... No thank You. Oh well, it worked for me. Who knows. LOL. I am will keep plugging away even though I had zero weight loss these last two weeks. Maybe I have hit my plateau???? Keep fingers crossed for me. thanks.

Yoga
The types of Yoga are as diverse as the movement and the stretches used in the act. This is why I haven't decided on the type of Yoga I am committing too. I am generally stretching and following along a set of stretchs offered by a gaming system. Unfortunately, with all the snow, I have gained back 2 of the 7 lbs I recently lost but with diligence I will take it back off and continue forward. In the track of this assignment I think I am going to experiment with the Yoga techniques of several different types, to find my best fit for me and the results I desire. Next post will be on a specific type and the results it gave. Cross your fingers. I will need it LOL.

yoga journal
Well this week has been fairly easy to incorporate the new excercise routine as we are experiencing a huge winter storm. The power has been flickering all evening and is predicted to have outages. The snow is piling up to around 14 to 16 inches overnight, so I will have plenty of time to meditate and stretch. To add to the positives experienced, I have already lost 7 pounds in the first week. Yeah Me. Long weekend ahead, so maybe more good news next week. Keep your fingers crossed.
