blogging sites weekly analysis 1-4

Assignment 1-4
Weekly Analysis

I have been noticing the popularity of blog web sites. One of the most popular sites would have to be Myspace. You have probably heard of this site, and like me, are probably members. Blogging has definitely become a highly regarded way of speaking, or in this case writing, your personal thoughts on any subject. Blogs cover subjects ranging from the way your day is going to important political subjects. Blogs can range from lighthearted fun to serious on point information. The person can disseminate information to a wide variety of individuals by simply inviting a person to enjoy their personal URL. “Bloggers” can be of any age or race. Gender does not have any emphasis on the information being written either. In doing research on this subject, teens seem to be ahead of the pack but not exactly run away with the prize. Everyone from political candidates, to students, to elderly individuals is posting their information on the web.
Today’s technology allows the individual to enjoy the freedom of speech simply by clicking the mouse. The blog sites are monitored for content but few areas are off limits. The blog sites have been under fire by some lawmakers because negative issues can create trouble for some, but after all, we do live in a democratic society. If the information written is concise and on point, then damaged egos is the problem of those who the blog may be about. Unfortunately for those, the information may be true.
In conclusion, we all know we do things on a daily basis that may not sit well with others, but do we need to worry about that being written down for the world to see? I, for sure, will not intend to change my personality, but I will look for my name in a blog someday.
